RTB House – a tech company specializing in display advertising precisely tailored to the users’ interests – continues to expand its business abroad and employs yet another local online industry expert. RTB House has been represented in Greece by Alexandros Rigas since June 2015.
Greece is yet another country, after Turkey, Russia and the Czech Republic, where RTB House has strengthened its corporate sales structures over the last few months.
“The intense staff growth we are undergoing stems directly from the company’s current development strategy. We know that maintaining the ongoing and extremely dynamic business development wouldn’t be possible if it weren’t for the support of local specialists. Greece is a highly demanding market, so we are glad to see such an experienced manager in our team. We believe that Alexandros’s in-depth knowledge and years of hands-on experience in the online world will help him manage our business in Greece efficiently, and it will strengthen our position in the country in the long run”, says Daniel Surmacz, Chief Operating Officer at RTB House.
In RTB House, Alexandros Rigas is responsible for planning and executive decisions. He will initially concentrate on strengthening the company’s Greek presence by establishing a framework for b2b cooperation with new clients.
Rigas has been an entrepreneurial spirit and eBusiness executive since 2009. In 2010, he co-founded brandsGalaxy.gr (Athens/Greece).
He then joined Naspers Ltd. (JSE:NPN) in December 2011 and served from different executive positions at subsidiary companies such as ricardo.ch (Zug/Switzerland), markafoni.com (Istanbul/Turkey) and enmoda.com (Istanbul/Turkey). Since December 2014, Alexandros is an eBusiness consultant advising Internet companies, mainly on business development and cost optimization. He holds a BSc in International and European Economic and Political Studies (Thessaloniki/Greece) and a MSc in International Business, Strategy and Innovation (Maastricht/The Netherlands).
“We all know that today’s business situation in Greece is very difficult and this is why advertisers have to calculate their budget more carefully than ever before. Every eurocent spent for promotion has to bring a high and stable return on investment and precisely targeted ads are a great solution for that”, says Alexandros Rigas, RTB House Business Partner in Greece.
RTB House currently operates in 33 markets. Serving its global clients, it buys 3.5 bn ad views per month. The company has operated on the Greek market since 2013 and already provides its services to brands such as goldenbrands.gr, z-mall.gr and many more.
